    A bank with a teller outside for after hrs! Quick & friendly service provided! Spacious & comfortable & convenient seating when waiting! An attendant always shortens the line up when it occurs which makes this bank

    I’ve had to use the ATMs here to deposit after hours at least weekly, and Ive always had a problem.
    Last night I had to cancel a deposit transaction and the ATM just refused to return my money. I had to chase down the branch phone number for an hour and still went to voicemail. Only to find out, when i went to the branch on my lunch break, that they leave their phones on do not disturb.
    They said that they checked the ATM in the morning and couldn’t find my missing money but they checked again and miraculously found it…
    Once i finally thought i worked it all out, they deposited the money before checking with me first, there was a reason why i cancelled the transaction in the first place.
    Just frustrating.

    Went to bank yesterday, min wait & was assisted by Jess who was mist obliging & knew her stuff.

    Tried to deposit some coins today and the machine gave up on me and shut down. A staff member came over after I told them that the machine is broken and hasn't deposited the money into my account, and told me that we need to fill out a claim form. So we did this and I asked for a copy of the form I was told to sign and I received the comment that this is an internal document and I can't have a copy of it. When I asked how this can be an internal document when I had it in my hands on when I signed it, he became snippy and told me that I can't have a copy. So I asked how can I prove that the machine has my money and I made a claim, I got the answer that he works there in this branch and I have to trust him. He walked away said you can't have a copy and didn't speak to me anymore. So I walked out of this branch, cranky as I was and went to the Commonwealth Bank around the corner and deposited there my other coins I couldn't get in the ANZ machine. So now I guess I have to wait that my payment will go into my business account, trusting a man who was rude to me and a bank with a non trusting history and was fined for it. And how could this have been easily prevented, that I wouldn't have to write this or would be upset? Easy, just make a copy of the printout of the claim form with my own details, because what could I have done with it? I know my name, phone number, account detail and email address!
    P.S.: It is now 2 weeks later and I'm still waiting for the deposit to arrive in my bank account. Will go today to the branch and try to find out where my money is. If you see a new comment, you know it didn't go well :)
    P.P.S.: The problem is solved now and of course the security company didn't count my stuck coins from that machine. The original staff member was like usual not in because of holiday's, but there was ONE highlight in this story: A competent person working for ANZ! A lovely lady called Jackie, fixed everything up. It took 2 phone calls with me and 1 attendance at the branch and in 24 hours after she took this problem on, everything was solved. If I could grade her, she would be a 5 star!

    Worst customer service ever. Dont even bother stepping into this branch, they are all bludgers.
    I went in the branch after calling ANZ's contact centre explaining I would like to transfer an amount higher than 30k into another bank account(non-anz). The rep over the phone advised me it is best to pop into a branch and do that as I will not be charged the $28 fee that one would get charged if they were to do it over the phone.
    I was greeted by a tall man who later directed me to this middle-aged short hair blonde lady, who dismisses the information that was told over the phone to me BY THEIR CONTACT CENTRE TEAM saying there would still be a $28 fee if done in the branch and was literally pushing me to just do it over the phone rather than doing her job.
    I walked away and wondered if i could just do another transfer which is lower than 25k in the branch since Im already here.
    The young man who greeted me said that is not possible and I would need to do it over the phone with my voice ID. I told him my voice ID isnt working and doesnt recognises my voice. Rather than offering help, he just said sorry we cant do it in the branch.

    That is where one would think this whole branch is full of bludgers who care less about ANZ and their customers. From all the other reviews, it also appears that the branch manager does not bother about all the complaints received neither do ANZ. So why even bother staying with this bank? Great thing is, rather than just transferring a set amount, I have decided that I will be closing all my bank accounts with ANZ and go with my new bank that I have just opened up my account with.

    I was the only customer at that time with more than 7 staff members on that day.

    This branch needs to go!
